Vista Guest Room

Accommodates two guests in a King Size bed with a possible rollaway for children. There is an additional per person daily charge for more than two guests.

Vista Plus Guest Room

The Vista Plus has a small extra bedroom with two single beds and a handicap bathroom which you enter by passing through the master bedroom. An additional two person occupancy charge is required with this guest room.

Alta Vista Guest Room

The Alta Vista Guest Room is similar in design and layout to the Vista Guest Room but has 18’ vaulted ceilings and because of its location on the second floor has a sweeping view of not only the volcano but the valley below. Accommodates two guests in a King Size bed with a possible rollaway for children.  There is an additional per person daily charge for more than two guests.

Honeymoon Vista and Vista Plus - One king bed *

In addition to the fantastic view and all the amenities of our Vista units these ultra special guest rooms offer our guests the ability to enjoy a hot mineral spring experience in the privacy of their own lushly landscaped garden terrace.  With the touch of a switch hot spring water flows with pressure into the jets of the Jacuzzi allowing for a soothing massage of your lower back and legs.  The overflowing water then cascades over the infinity border edge and out of the Jacuzzi.

*Note:   The Vista Plus has an extra bedroom and bathroom with two twin beds and the occupants of both the master and second bedrooms can enter and exit through a common hallway without disturbing each other as long as the privacy doors are closed. There is an additional per person charge for this guest room.

Family Suite Guest Room

The Family Guest Suite has the same layout and design as the Vista Guest Room on the first level but has a mezzanine bedroom above with its own private bath.  The Master Bathroom has a Jacuzzi Tub.  There is a King Size Bed on the lower master level and one King Size Bed on the Mezzanine Level. Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for additional children. There is an additional per person daily charge for more than two guests.

Two Bedroom Junior Springs Suite (Room #317)

- One king and two twin beds with additional rollaway possible.

This two bedroom two bath guest room occupies an even higher elevation than our Alta Vista units and enjoys an even more spectacular view of the volcano and countryside.   The master bedroom has the same layout as the vista but the bathroom is larger with a special arched ceiling and lighting feature behind the Jacuzzi tub.

The second bedroom has floor to ceiling windows in a radius design that offers a dramatic sensation of floating as you view the mountainside dropping hundreds of feet below.  The room offers two twin beds with sufficient space to add a third if needed.  The occupants of both the master and second bedrooms can enter and exit through a common hallway without disturbing each other as long as the privacy doors are closed.

Two Bedroom Junior Springs Suite (Room #320)

- One king and two beds with additional rollaway possible.

This two bedroom two bath guest room occupies an even higher elevation than our Alta Vista units and enjoys an even more spectacular view of the volcano and countryside.   The master bedroom has the same layout as the vista but the bathroom is larger with a special arched ceiling and lighting feature behind the Jacuzzi tub.

The second bedroom has the unique feature of a Jacuzzi tub in front of the picture window fronting the volcano; however, the occupants of the second bedroom must pass through the master bedroom to enter the second bedroom so this unit does not offer as much privacy as the other Junior Springs Suite (Room 317).  The advantage of this unit is that you can open the double sliding doors to the second bedroom to create a more spacious atmosphere.

Two Bedroom Oropendola Suite

- Two king beds with room for additional rollaway beds.

The two bedroom two bath Oropendola Suite is the largest accommodation on the property with the exception of our Villas and the second floor of the unit occupies the highest elevation of any of our guest rooms. The layout is “townhouse” style comprising two levels with an interior staircase and privacy door.

The master bedroom has the same amenities as the vista hotel rooms along with a king size bed, and the second bedroom on the level above is a spacious great room concept with 18 foot vaulted ceilings.  The great room has a king size bed and seating area with a sofa and chairs along with a mini bar and balcony with rocking chairs, hammocks and table seating.  The second floor bath is smaller than the master bath and does not have a Jacuzzi.

Two Bedroom Springs Suite

- One king bed and two twin beds with additional rollaway possible.

This accommodation is located on the top floor and offers maximum flexibility.  Although it has a completely separate entrance for the second bedroom it also has sliding connecting doors to the master bedroom that can be opened to create a spacious effect.  The master bedroom is a great room with 16 foot vaulted ceilings and a unique bathroom with Jacuzzi.

The second bedroom is the largest second bedroom on the property and boasts a window front Jacuzzi facing the volcano.  This bedroom offers two twin beds.

Three Bedroom Springs Suite

- Two king beds and two twin beds.

This three bedroom three bath guest room occupies the highest elevation of any of our guest rooms and enjoys an even more spectacular view of the volcano and countryside from the Master and second bedroom.   The master bedroom has the same layout as the vista but the bathroom is larger with a special arched ceiling and lighting feature behind the Jacuzzi tub.

The third bedroom and bath has a completely private entrance from a stairwell balcony shared by all three rooms.  This third bedroom is the only room on the property that does not have a view of the volcano but looks back toward the reception and surrounding forest.  The advantage of the third bedroom is that it offers complete privacy from the master and second bedroom.  This third bedroom offers a king size bed.

Villa Guayaba

Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for children. 

The Villa Guayaba boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a Jacuzzi Tub in the Master bath, full kitchen, heated plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets and cascades, sun deck, hammocks and outdoor dining area.  The Villa Guayaba location allows for the most incredible views of the Arenal Volcano.  There is an additional per person daily charge for more than four guests.

Villa Calatea

Accommodates four guests with a possible rollaway for children. The Villa Calatea is a one of a kind Villa with two bedrooms, two and one half bathrooms.  Both the Master and Guest Bath have Jacuzzi Tubs.  In addition, the Guest Room has an outdoor shower on its private terrace. The Master and Guest Suite share a living room and kitchen with a large refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven.  The Villa has separate entrances, heated plunge pool with Jacuzzi jets and cascades, sun deck, hammocks, an outdoor dining area and, of course, an incredible view of the Arenal Volcano. The Guest Room has a Private Terrace that is perfect for morning room service as well as afternoon cocktails.  There is an additional per person daily charge for more than four guests.

Palm Bungalow

The Palm Bungalow features 950 sq. ft (90 m2) of indoor and outdoor living space along with an oversized outdoor Jacuzzi nestled amidst its own private garden. Along with a fantastic view of the Arenal Volcano the bedroom area (705 sq. ft or 67 m2) features a spacious vaulted ceiling and a grand marble master bath with a Jacuzzi tub, an oversized indoor shower and a landscaped outdoor garden shower. It also boasts a fully stocked wet mini-bar with refrigerator and coffee maker as well as a 47” LCD TV and a surround sound system with IPhone, IPod and MP3 docking capability. The outdoor living space includes a loggia with two hammocks and a sundeck with a dining table and lounge chairs.

One of the most popular amenities included with the Palm Bungalow is the use of a four-person golf cart.  The use of this golf cart is restricted to the area between the Villas and the Resort Reception building above them and CANNOT be taken down the mountain to Club Rio or the Jungle Cat Sanctuary.

Presidential Villa

The Presidential Villa boasts 2,060 square feet (195 m2) of indoor and outdoor living area surrounded by lush gardens, an incredible lagoon pool with Jacuzzi and waterfall, two sun terraces, three covered loggias and a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano rising from the lush rainforest.

The 710 square foot (67 m2) detached master suite comes complete with a grand marble master bath with a Jacuzzi tub, an oversized indoor shower and a landscaped outdoor garden shower. It also has its own wet mini-bar with refrigerator and coffee maker, a private sun terrace and a private loggia with two hammocks as well as a 47” LCD TV and a surround sound system with IPhone, IPod and MP3 docking capability.

The “Great Room” indoor living area measures 720 sq. ft (68 m2) and is separated from the Master Suite by a small garden area with a covered walkway and a privacy door that connects the exterior front terraces. The living area has a full kitchen, a full bathroom off the exterior walkway, dining table that seats eight, and a sofa and chair set. It also has a 47” LCD TV with surround sound and IPhone, IPod and MP3 docking capability. Four rollaway beds can be placed along the side walls of the living room to accommodate children or adults sleeping in the living area and there is closet space for suitcases and clothes.

The terrace in front of the living area hosts a sun deck and two loggias and the lagoon pool which is perched on the mountain’s edge for a most spectacular effect. There is a sofa set under one of the loggias and a dining table for six under the other. The pool and its jacuzzi are heated by both solar and propane and the infinity edges of both the pool and Jacuzzi along with the waterfall lend a surreal affect to the mountain landscape dominated by the majestic Arenal Volcano in the background.

Combination of Presidential Villa and Palm Bungallow

The combination of the Presidential Villa and the Palm Bungalow provide a total of 3,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor living area comprised of three detached buildings connected by gardens, terraces and covered exterior walkways.  The center building is a “Great Room” living area with a full kitchen, indoor dining area, living area, a full bathroom and room for four twin beds along the side walls.    The view looks out directly to the Volcano over a sun terrace and a heated free form pool with an infinity edge and waterfall along with an embedded infinity edge overflow Jacuzzi.  The patio has two outdoor loggias featuring a dining table for six on one side and a comfortable seating area on the other.   The “Great Room” is also equipped with a 47” LCD TV along with a surround sound system with IPod, IPhone and MP3 docking capability.

The buildings on either side are dual master bedrooms complete with grand marbled master baths with Jacuzzi tubs, oversized indoor showers and outdoor landscaped garden showers.  Each detached master has its own wet mini-bar with refrigerator and coffee maker, private terrace and loggia with twin hammocks.  The Palm Bungalow Master side also has an outdoor private Jacuzzi on the patio.  Each master is also equipped with a 47” LCD TV along with a surround sound system with IPod, IPhone and MP3 docking capability.
